GAITHERSBURG, Md. –(July 24, 2006– NexTone Communications(R), the leader in intelligent and scalable session management solutions for IP and IMS network interconnects, today announced the company achieved record bookings in the first six months of 2006, due in large part to the rapid adoption of inter-carrier VoIP peering and enterprise session initiation protocol (SIP) trunking. The company also launched key technology initiatives including the NexTone Compatible Partner Program in conjunction with the NexTone Interoperability Lab and its Dynamic Policy Management(TM) (DPM) functionality for NexTone’s IntelliConnect(TM) System. These initiatives give service providers ready made solutions for new services that can be managed on a session-by-session basis for service-specific quality. These capabilities take on even greater importance with IMS as service providers will be required to support a diverse set of real-time services, each with their own special quality needs.
