Dell’Oro Group Reports Strong Growth in IP Telephony Carrier Market in the Third Quarter; IP Telephony Carrier Revenues Climb 60 Percent Year-over-Year

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. –Nov. 17, 2005–According to a recently published report by Dell’Oro Group, the trusted source for market information about the networking and telecommunications industries, the Carrier IP Telephony market grew 19 percent sequentially in the third quarter of 2005. Media gateway sales led growth again this quarter, increasing 23 percent. With softswitch revenues steadily climbing throughout the year, total IP Telephony Carrier sales in the third quarter of 2005 grew 60 percent compared with the third quarter of 2004.
